Unagi Kabayaki — Authentic Japanese Broiled Eel, Ready in Minutes
In Japan, Unagi Don is considered one of the most comforting and prestigious dishes a home cook can serve. Traditionally prepared by skilled chefs who spend years mastering the art of eel butchering and glazing, it has always been a restaurant-only experience. Until now. Intershell Seafood brings you premium Unagi Kabayaki — pre-cooked, pre-glazed, and ready to heat and serve — so you can enjoy an authentic Japanese dining experience without leaving your kitchen.
- Pre-Cooked and Glazed to Perfection: Each fillet is broiled in the traditional Kabayaki style and coated with a classic sweet and savory tare glaze made with soy sauce, mirin, and sake. Rich, caramelized, and deeply flavorful.
- Premium Quality: Sourced and prepared to the highest standards of quality. Tender, silky texture with a rich, slightly sweet flavor that is unlike any other seafood.
- Incredibly Easy to Prepare: Simply heat in a pan, oven, or microwave for 2-3 minutes and serve. No special skills required — restaurant quality in minutes.
- Versatile: Serve over steamed white rice for a classic Unagi Don, slice into sushi rolls, or use as a topping for ramen and noodle bowls.
- Fillet Size: 10 oz — One generous fillet, ideal for a single serving or shared as part of a larger meal.
Serving Suggestion: Place heated fillet over a bowl of freshly steamed Japanese short-grain rice. Drizzle with additional tare sauce, garnish with toasted sesame seeds and thinly sliced green onion. Serve with pickled ginger on the side.
