Escargot is a culinary emblem of France, and Nomade des Jardins provides an impeccable, ethical example of this classic dish. Their escargots are cultivated with care in the Poitou Charentes regions of France, offering a sustainable and consistent product. This provides a perfect alternative to the traditionally used wild "Burgundy snails," which are an endangered species and whose harvest is forbidden in France.
These ready-to-cook escargots are delivered to you lightly poached in their shells and stuffed with an infused garlic-parsley butter. All you need to do is reheat them to enjoy a gourmet French appetizer.

Defrosting Guidelines
- Overnight in the Fridge: Small packs take 6–12 hours; large packs take 12–48 hours.
- Cold Water Bowl: Submerge sealed items in cold water for a faster thaw.
- Note: Do not use hot water or attempt to thaw by cooking, as this ruins the natural texture and flavor.

They were good
Not a very good recipe for the snails. Mine were a bit gritty and lacked the big garlic flavor I’m accustomed to. I won’t be buying them any more.
Escargot arrives frozen and when cooked provide an excellent authentic French appetizer. Will buy again. John Combs
