Spanish Mackerel is a wild caught fish that is rich in flavor - making it a quality fish for sashimi presentation (just like Boston Mackerel), or it is fantastic to eat when cooked under a broiler. Spanish Mackerel is easily recognized by its striking greenish-blue back, silver sides and belly, and distinctive yellow or olive green oval spots. This coloring is key to differentiating it from other species.
